Tree of Youth
Pen and Ink
I think people always have a
heavenly view of youth so I wanted to expose that through a “tree of life”.
This was a fast acting sculpture where we had to make something from objects of choice in a certain amount of time. All of these objects represent control because it is based off of the idea that I have to control a lot of my life because of my asthma and I lean on medication as a crutch like this little fellah does.
The tree of suffering.
This project was supposed to emphasize plane and space with an interactive environment idea. I chose a tree and to use things that people leave behind when camping because as a kid all I did was go camping.
Life Grows and Stan’s Sun
Foot and Ankle
I designed both of my tattoos, one is to show that life always grows and moves on with the peacock feathers and double infinity to show that my bond with change is infinite x 2. The second is a tribute to my uncle who died of leukemia was obsessed with tribal suns and I wanted to honor him. I also wanted a piece of Arizona that will always be with me as I travel all over.

I love making unnatural things look natural.
